Sound the trumpets! Incoming student achievement in 3, 2, 1…
During this year’s annual meeting of the Southeast Conference of the Association for Asian Studies, the 2024 undergraduate paper prize went to Sam Dietrich of UNC-Chapel Hill for his paper entitled “Privacy, Psychology, and the Panopticon in Xia Jia’s Short Stories.” This paper was written in Dr. Robin Visser’s class, CHIN 545: Chinese Science Fiction.
