Alumni of our programs here in DAMES go on to do great things. The very first student to defend her thesis in our new graduate program, Caroline Williams, is no exception! Caroline has accepted a Social Studies teaching position in 8th-grade Civics at Harmony Middle School in Osceola, Florida, where her zest for learning and joy in expanding horizons is sure to inspire the next generation of Asian studies scholars.
