Study Abroad Opportunities

Students may choose from among several excellent study abroad programs affiliated with or organized by UNC-Chapel Hill. Each summer there is an eight-week UNC-CH faculty-led program to Tokyo that includes language training at the second-year or third-year level, home stays with Japanese families, and enrichment activities designed to acquaint the students with Japanese culture.

Students may also apply to study at semester and/or year programs in Japan at several top Japanese institutions: International Christian University; Keio University; Kwansei Gakuin; Nanzan University; Sophia University; and Waseda University.
