The Persian placement test has two parts: written and oral. The written part is intended to assess students’ reading and writing skills, and the oral test is an evaluation of their listening and speaking skills.

Depending on the time of year, the test may be given in person or remotely (on Zoom). There’s no difference in the test content.

For the remote version of the test, you will need a computer, camera, and microphone. You’ll handwrite the written section of the test and submit a photo of it.

Since placement tests are proficiency tests, there is no need to prepare. The test result should indicate your current level of command of the language and thus determine the most appropriate course placement.
