Japanese test format

The placement test in Japanese typically consists of the following parts:

1. Vocabulary (Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji)
2. Grammar
3. Reading/Writing
4. Oral Interview

FALL 2020 UPDATE:

The test is being given remotely via zoom.  There’s a written test (by hand, not typing) and an oral interview.
