Professional biography
I received my postgraduate training in Teaching English as a Second Language from State University of New York at Albany and MBA program from Beijing University of International Business and Economics. I previously taught Chinese at University of Houston, Texas before coming to UNC-Chapel Hill in the fall of 2002. My teaching experience includes teaching Chinese language to both heritage and nonheritage learners at all college levels.
Research
My research interests focus on teaching Chinese for business purposes, computer-assisted language learning (CALL), and language assessment.
